Vested interests are trying to portray that the return of the 70,000-odd Kashmiri Pandit (KP) families to the Valley is a "herculean task" but in reality this is not the case, BJP MLC from Jammu and Kashmir Ambardar said here today.
He said Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has already started the dialogue process with the Kashmiri Pandit community with regards to their return and rehabilitation, and claimed that the process is moving in the right direction.
He claimed that the Chief Minister is very keen on return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley with safety and dignity.
Ambardar said this while addressing a gathering of Kashmiri Pandits during a event organised by Kashmir Sewak Samaj, Faridabad.
He said the Chief Minister believes that the garden of Kashmir is incomplete till the Pandits return and are rehabilitated there with safety and dignity.
Ambardar said Kashmiri Pandits as a community have to shape up their mood and perception to return to the Valley to preserve their culture for centuries there.
"...We are only close to 70,000 families and it is not that complex issue to get all of these families settled in our homes as some vested interests sometimes portray it as a herculean task which is not the case in reality," he said.
