"Instead of patting his own back, (Chief Minister Shivraj Singh) Chouhan should take care of farmers staging a protest by sitting over unlit funeral pyres in Bujbuja and Dokaria villages in protest against their land acquisition for an industry," Ajay said in a statement here.
For the last two years, farmers in Katni's Bujbuja and Dokaria villages have been staging protest but in vain, despite the fact that so far six farmers have given their lives over the issue, he said.
Chouhan is not concerned about the issue despite the state being on top on atrocities against women and suicide by farmers, Ajay mentioned.
