Lawyer killed in hit-and-run accident in Rajkot

A 35 years lawyer was today killed when a car hit his two-wheeler in Race Course ground area of the city, police said.
The car driver, yet to be identified, fled after the incident.
The victim was unidentified as Nilesh Sankharva.
Inspector K M Raval of Pradyunmanagar police station said the mishap occurred when Shankharva was on his way to his office.
The car, a Lancer, hit him from behind.
Sankharva, who was lying unconscious on the road, was taken to city civil hospital by some passers-by, but he died during the treatment.
