The lawyers body said that the strike by Dwarka Court advocates, which was lauched on March 1, stands suspended as a result of intervention by the High Court.
"The executive committee members of the DCBA yesterday met the Chief Justice and other Senior Judges of the Delhi High Court, who are on the administrative committee. The Judges assured that the just and logical demand of the DCBA will be sympathetically considered," Dwarka Bar Association Secretary P S Singh said.
The DCBA in its press release said, "In the General Body Meeting called by the executive committee of the DCBA on March 14 to take stock of the situation and decide future course of action, it was unanimously decided by the Members to suspend the Strike. Normal working of court will thus start from March 15".
