"The leopardess walked into a cage that had been installed in the jungles of Sodaliya village under Tirla block. We had been trying to catch the feline since the last four days," Dhar Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Gaurav Choudhary told PTI.
The big cat had killed a 12-year-old girl on March 18 at Tirla block. An 18-year-old youth had also got injured in the attack, he added.
The big cat has been brought to Kamla Nehru Zoo here. "The animal has sustained minor injuries on its nose and tail and was given primary health care," Zoo In-charge Uttam Yadav said.
