Light rain in Chandigarh

Light showers brought down the mercury in Chandigarh and its surrounding areas falling in Punjab and Haryana today.
Several parts of the Union Territory received light rain in the morning, leading to a slight dip in mercury, MeT officials said.
Mohali and Ropar in Punjab and Panchkula and Ambala in Haryana were among the places that received rain.
The MeT department, in its forecast, said light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places in Punjab tomorrow.
