Light rains over parts of eastern UP

Light to moderate rains and thundershowers occurred at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours.
According to the MeT department, Gorotha and Lalitpur recorded 7 cms of rainfall each while Muzaffarnagar and Mirzapur received 3 cms of rains.
Rajghat, Kunda, Robertganj, Fatehpur, Bindki, Bara, Dudhi, Dalmau, Churk, Allahabad gauged 2 cms rains each. While 1 cm each of rainfall was recorded in Karchhana, Rath, Bijnor, Chandauli, Chatnag, Fatehpur and Ghazipur.
The weather department has forecast rain or thundershowers at many places over the state.
