The Rajasthan government has given farm loan waiver certificates worth Rs 6739.96 crore to over 22.16 lakh farmers, Cooperatives Minister Ajay Singh Kilak said today.
The state government organised 5,454 loan waiver camps from June 4 to July 29, he said.
Waiver certificates worth Rs 6739.96 crore were given to 22.16 lakh farmers who took loans from cooperative banks, he said in a statement.
He said the new loans for the kharif season were also being given. Loans of Rs 6240 crore were distributed to farmers till July 29, the minister said.
