The representatives from 40 countries across the globe will take part in the 'Shivir'.
"The event is being organised among others by Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), which runs different social activities worldwide," HSS international 'Sah-Sanyojak' (assistant coordinator) Ravi Kumar told reporters here.
"Mahajan will inaugurate the mega event aimed at promoting Indian culture and values world wide," he said.
Bhagwat will address a session presided by former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman G Madhavan Nair on January 2, Kumar informed.
Kumar further said that the first Vishwa Sangh Shivir was held in Bengaluru in 1990 and such camps had been organised at Vadodra, Mumbai, Gandhinagar and Pune.
