Sources said AAP was aiming high in Maharashtra, which goes in for Assembly polls in October this year.
"AAP will fight as many seats as possible in Maharashtra.
"Request good citizens, activists & bureaucrats to pl download form & submit by 15th Jan," Anjali Damania, an AAP leader from Maharashtra, tweeted this evening.
Here to attend the party's National Executive Committee Meeting, Damania told PTI that, as part of the two-day meet, an elaborate presentation was made about the prospects of the party in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
AAP has found support among many in the urban areas with people like Meera Sanyal, former chief of Royal Bank of Scotland, India.
Also, former chief engineer of Maharashtra Engineering and Training Academy (META), Vijay Pandhare, who blew the whistle on the multi-crore irrigation scam, too, has joined AAP and is likely to contest for the party from Nashik.
Meanwhile, underlining the growing support the party is gaining among the public, AAP further tweeted this evening that 740 people had joined its ranks in the Mumbai north-east parliamentary constituency.
