The 20-year-old songstress, who is pals with big names such as Taylor Swift, the Haim sisters and Blake Lively, says it is good to have people, who know the showbiz world inside out, by her side, reported The Guardian.
"It's an element of wanting to stick together. Because it can be so scary to do this. These friendships, they're about having a hand put on your shoulder by someone who knows. They're about hearing, 'I've done it, too'," says Lorde.
Lorde says, "I've talked to other artist friends about a moment in their careers when they've felt themselves stop getting better... It meant there was still so much to learn.
