Luxury coaches launched on Kalka-Shimla track

Ambala Railway Division today launched luxury coaches on Kalka to Shimla railway track.
The railway has made provisions for three well-furnished coaches for tourists on the 96 km journey, Senior DCM Parveen Gaur Dwivedi said.
Eight passengers can travel in 'RA-100' coach which will cost Rs 36,000 for the complete coach. For 'RA-200' coach, passengers will pay Rs 27,000 for the coach and Rs 29,000 would be charged for 'Jharokha' coach.
Tourists can relish 103 terminals and 800 big and small bridges in their journey, Dwivedi said.
The coaches have been decorated and excellent sitting arrangements made, including dressing room and attractive interiors, he said.
