Mandal in a letter to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) V S Sampath pointed out that in 2009 Lok Sabha polls his name was in the electoral rolls in Patna, with his address at Bihar State Electricity Board colony, but this time his name has been deducted.
Mandal told reporters that he has requested the CEC to get his name included in the electoral rolls before the nomination process for the seat begins on April 2.
He is native of Gorgama village under Phulparas police station of Madhubani district.
Mandal won the Jhanjharpur seat in 2009 general elections on JD(U) ticket, but switched over to RJD recently.
