A magistrate of a Kolkata court today recorded statements of two persons under section 164 of the CrPC in connection with the Rashbehari Avenue car crash that killed model Sonika Chauhan last month.
"Statements of two persons were recorded before magistrate under the section 164 of the CrPC in connection with the case," a senior police officer of Kolkata police said.
The police officer refused to divulge the identities of the persons.
A Kolkata police forensic team today examined actor Vikram Chatterjee's car for the second time.
Vikram was at the wheel when the accident took place last month.
The police had interrogated Vikram twice.
He had surrendered in connection with the accident case involving his car in which actor and model Sonika Chauhan was killed.
A city court had granted him bail on May 5.
The Kolkata Police had started a case on its own against Vikram.
Sonika's family had also lodged a complaint against him. Later, the cases were tagged.
In the early hours of April 29, a car with Vikram at the wheel and Sonika seated on the front seat swerved and crashed into the pavement along south Kolkata's Rashbehari Avenue.
