Mamta Binani becomes new ICSI President

ICSI, the apex body of company secretaries, today elected Mamta Binani as its president while Shyam Agrawal will serve as the vice president.
Binani, who has been practising as a company secretary for more than 19 years, has served as chairperson of ICSI's Eastern India Regional Council, among others.
Agrawal is the central council member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for the term 2015-2018.
He was the chairman of the institute's Northern India Regional Council in 2014, according to a release issued by ICSI.
