Onkar Singh, a resident of Arnas area, was arrested yesterday when a police team conducted a raid on his house after receiving information that he was manufacturing country liquor at his residence, SSP Reasi, Sujit Kumar said.
He said 2.5 litres of country liquor, 20 litres of Lahan (used in preparation of country liquor) and other materials were recovered from his residence.
The accused was arrested and booked under various sections of Excise Act at Police Station Arnas. Investigation is underway, he said.
