The incident had taken place on February 23 and the police registered a case after its video went viral on social networking sites recently.
"We have registered a case against Yogesh Pujara, who had intentionally rammed his big SUV car twice into a city-based lady Ami Tahiliani's WagonR car, after she allegedly hit Pujara's car," Police Inspector M A Rajyaguru said before reporters today.
Tahiliani accidentally hit Pujara's Innova, which left a small dent in it. At that time, Pujara's driver was behind the wheels and Pujara's wife and son were travelling in the vehicle, he said.
The video of the incident has gone viral today, which clearly shows Pujara ramming into Tahiliani's car and also kicking on the bonnet of the car.
Tahiliani told reporters here today that she was scared after the incident. "It is said that women are safe in Gujarat even at night, but I was attacked in broad daylight. No one came forward to help me," she said.
