Police today arrested an employee of a private firm who had cooked up a story of being robbed of Rs 29 lakh cash that belonged to his employer.
The accused, Sudha Pavan Marella, who worked as a supervisor with one Lokeswara, a businessman who runs a group of companies here, was caught while he was trying to flee the city.

However, Pavan hatched a plan to take away the money. Accordingly, he went to his friend Srinivas Reddy's house in Attapur and gave the cash bag to him.
