Man held for outraging modesty of woman

A man was today arrested by the police here for allegedly outraging the modesty of a married woman of Bhinder Kalan village.
Sarabjit Singh was arrested on the charge of outraging the modesty of a 31-yearl-old married woman while she was alone in her house last night.
When the victim raised an alarm, the accused managed to escape from the spot, but was later arrested, police said.
On the complaint of the victim, police booked the person for allegedly outraging the modesty of a woman.
Meanwhile, police on a routine checking here arrested an alleged drug peddler Gurtej Singh.
Police also seized banned drugs from his possession.
