Fire in hospital; doctor killed

A 27-year-old doctor was killed after a fire broke out in a private hospital in the central suburb of Mulund here, civic officials said today.
The blaze broke out in Gokul Hospital last night following which five fire engines, five water tankers and an ambulance were rushed to the spot, according to the disaster cell of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
The victim identified as Dr Rahul was killed in the blaze, officials said.
The fire may have been triggered by a short-circuit, they said, adding the exact reason is yet to be ascertained.
