Man held for stealing valuables from tourist's hotel room

A man was today arrested for allegedly stealing expensive belongings of a toursist from his hotel room here, police said.
The tourist, who was not identified, had lodged a complaint with the Rajbagh police station that his watch worth Rs 3.5 lakh, iPhone and credit card were stolen from his hotel room, a police spokesman said.
During investigation, police picked up Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Tangmarg, the spokesman said.
The stolen goods were recovered from Shiekh's possession and he was arrested, he said.
