Man kills wife on suspicion of illicit relationship

A man allegedly killed his wife today in Sultanpur district of the state as he suspected her of having an illicit relationship, police said here today.
Jitendra suspected his wife Rekha (35) of having an illicit relationship and allegedly slit her throat with a knife in Narainpur village this afternoon, police said.
Jitendra has been arrested and the knife used in the incident recovered, they added.
