Lalta was killed by his nephew, Vishnu after the former's cattle grazed in his fields last night. The issue led to a tiff between the two following which Lalta was shot with a country-made pistol, they said.
The man died on the spot, they said, adding that an FIR has been lodged in this connection and efforts are on to nab Vishnu.
