The accused Rohit Kumar, a native of Merrut, was caught by security personnel of Ganga Ram Hospital here this afternoon.
According to the hospital authorities, the accused, aged around 30 years, was wearing an apron with a stethoscope around his neck and gloves in his hand and had approached a patient and his relatives who were advised MRI by a consultant in the OPD chamber of Ganga Ram Hospital four days ago.
"The family gave us the complaint following which we collected the CCTV footage of that area and the man was spotted," he said.
He said that the authorities then circulated the picture of the man among all the security persons of the hospital.
Jaswal also checked from his counterparts from other hospitals and it was found that the same person had robbed other families in a similar manner in Apollo and Max hospitals as well.
Further investigation into the case is on.
