Magistrate-cum-Patrolling Magistrate, was today arrested, official sources said.
Choudhury was allegedly found in an inebriated state when he was handed the duty chart as well as the allowance for the job and entered in argument with the polling personnel at the camp, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, K Srinivasan said.
Choudhury allegedly started having argument with the poll personnel and caused nuisance in the camp in Bisrampur sector in Palamau district, he said.
He was taken in police custody immediately following the incident, Srinivasan added.
The first phase of polling was held on November 22 last.
