The Park will opened a bit earlier than previous years and authorities have completed all preparations to reopen this for both domestic and foreign visitors, they said.
Accordingly a reopening inauguration programme has been organised at the second gate of Bahbari Range of the 88-year-old Manas National Park on the foothills of Bhutan, a Park official said.
Bodoland Territorial Council Deputy Chief Executive Khampha Borgoyari will inaugurate the programme where Bodoland Territorial Administrative Districts (BTAD) officials will also be present, he said.
The 950 sq km Park extends to five districts of Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Udalguri and Darrang in the state.
