Manjeev Singh Puri set to be India's envoy to Nepal

Manjeev Singh Puri, India's Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg, is set to be the country's envoy to Nepal.
Puri's namehas been proposed with the term of Ranjit Raecoming to an end, sources at the Indian Embassy here said.
An official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here also confirmed that Puri's name was sent to it on Tuesday and the process for paving the way for his appointment would begin shortly.
Rae, on the completion of his three and a half year-tenure, returned to Delhi yesterday.
Rae called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Prachanda before returning home.
