State TB Officer Dr Vanlalfela said that among the 1097 TB cases in the state during January to June, 83 people were HIV positives.
Vanlalfela said that 5,216 samples were tested during the period of which 1097 were found to be positive while ten people died during the same period.
He said that while the percentage of cure among the TB patients was 83 there were 24 with Multiple Drug Resistance TB.
