Three IEDs weighing 3 kg each, 100 metre electronic wire, 30-metre codex wire and condom packets were recovered after the left-wing guerrillas, led by 'area commander' Santoshji, retreated into jungles following the strong retaliatory action, Superintendent of Police Manoj Kaushik said.
Getting a tip-off that the rebels had planned to attack the camp, he said two teams, comprising CRPF (22nd battalion) and district police personnel were set up to surround the Maoists near Bishnugarh-Gomia borders of Hazaribagh and Bokaro districts.
There was no casualty on either side, the SP said.
