Max temperatures hover around normal in Haryana, Punjab

The maximum temperatures across Haryana and Punjab today hovered around normal level with Bhiwani sizzling at 38 degrees Celsius.
Ambala recorded a maximum temperature of 36.7 degrees Celsius, while Hisar and Narnaul's respective maximum temperatures settled at 38.2 and 37.5 degrees Celsius.
Chandigarh's maximum also settled within the normal level at 36.6 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 36.5 degrees Celsius.
Ludhiana and Patiala recorded maximum temperatures at 36.1 degrees and 37.1 degrees Celsius respectivly.
According to the MeT department, forecast is valid for the next five days, and it would mainly be sunny in the two states.
