Medical asscn meets DGP, demands action for attack on docs

A delegation of Provincial Medical Services Association today met Director General of Police and demanded arrest of those involved in attack on doctors in Ballia district.
"We have met the DGP today and sought his intervention in the Ballia issue," president, PMS association, Dr Ashok Kumar Yadav said.
He said on June 27, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Medical Superintendent and other doctors and employees were attacked by some persons but no action was taken against anyone in this regard.
Yadav said resentment was brewing among doctors on the issue.
