Memories of Munde, Kushwant, Zohra recalled in J'khand Assmbly

The Jharkhand Assembly today recalled the contributions made by union minister Gopinath Munde, renowned journalist and author Kushwant Singh, actor Zohra Sehgal and several others who passed away recently.
Taking up obituary references on the first day of the Monsoon Session, Speaker Shashank Sekhar Bhokta recalled the contributions made by the stalwarts of the country.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Leader of Opposition Arjun Munda and other legislators also referred to the mark made by these departed souls.
Rich tributes were paid to BJP leader Tapan Sikdar, former BJP president Bangaru Laxman and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Jannardhan Reddy.

The House also fondly remembered the services of former Bihar ministers Iswari Ram Paswan, Guneswar Singh, Birendra Prasad Singh and Mahabir Choudhary.
The legislators remembered former presiding officer of Bihar Legislative Council Tarakant Jha, former MLAs in Bihar Assembly Chintamani Sharan Nath Sahadeo, Ram Pravesh Rai and Bhukla Bhagat - all passing away in recent months.
The passing away of VHP leader Giriraj Kishore was also condoled before the House was adjourned for the day.
