"Connecting the two states of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand by a Rail route would help in the speedy Industrial development," Sai told Gowda as per an official statement from the Ministry of Mines.
The Minister drew the attention of the Railways counterpart towards the demand of the people to connect the industrial town of Corba in Chhattisgarh and Lohardaga in Jharkhand (with railways network).
"Sai also requested for the running of Nagpur-Corba- Nagpur Intercity Express of South East Central Railways Train upto Corba once again as Corba is a big Industrial Centre and a large number of people travelling from Corba are facing great difficulties," the statement said.
Railways Minister in turn "assured Sai of all possible co-operation on the above matters," it added.
