Minimum temperatures stay above normal in Punjab and Haryana

The overnight temperature in Chandigarh settled at 10 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal, the MeT said here.

In Haryana, Bhiwani recorded a low of 12.6 degrees Celsius, up five degrees while Hisar's low of 10.7 degrees Celsius settled three notches above normal.

Ambala registered a low of 10.1 degrees Celsius, up three notches and Narnaul's low of 12.5 degrees Celsius was up by six degrees.

In Punjab, Ludhiana recorded a low of 10.2 degrees Celsius, up three notches while Patiala's low settled at 10.6 degrees Celsius, up four degrees.

Amritsar registered a low of 8.2 degrees Celsius, four above normal.

The MeT said that fog reduced visibility at some places in the two states early today.
