Minor girl abducted in Jaisalmer, raped near Pokhran

A minor girl was allegedly abducted from Jaisalmer and raped near Pokhran, which is almost 100 km from her hometown, the police said today.
The incident happened on August 1 when the 14-year-old girl's parents were away for a function and upon return they did not find their daughter at home in Dantal village in Jaisalmer, the police said.
The parents allege that their daughter was abducted by Aamdeen, a resident of Gundala village and taken to a tube well in Pokhran where she was raped, they said.
The girl's father has lodged an FIR with the Phalsoond police station.

The accused is yet to be chased, they said, adding the girl's statement will be recorded before the magistrate.
