The father of the duo, aged 11 and 9, lodged a complaint at R K Puram police station in the morning of February 2 that they had gone missing the previous night, said Ishwar Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).
Various teams were formed to trace the duo. It was found that two children with similar description were seen at Delhi Cantonment railway station on February 1.
"It was found that the maternal grandparents of the children stay in Vijay Nagar, Bhilwara, Rajasthan. A team was sent to Bhilwara in Rajasthan and both the children were traced yesterday," the police officer said.
The brothers told police that they had left home with just Rs 40. The duo had taken a bus till Delhi Cantonment railway station and from there boarded the Chetak Express and reached Bhilwara without ticket.
