"On an experimental basis, we are going to raise the village of tents at Pachmarhi for 10 days from December 23," Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation General Manager M N Jamali said.
"Tourists nowadays want to experience new thrills during their stay, so we are for the first time putting up tents to give a nature's feel at Pachmarhi. Each tent will accommodate two persons," he added.
He recalled that similar tents were put up during a tribal festival at MP's Alirajpur district in March this year.
Meanwhile, according to reports, hotels, resorts and guest houses at Pachmarhi - popularly known as Satpura ki Rani (queen of Satpura) have already been booked by the tourists scheduled to flock at the hill station at the year-end.
