"My intention is clear, my aim is state's development, eradication of poverty and putting Jharkhand among the developed states," an official release said quoting him.
The aim is to provide electricity to 30 lakh households within the next three years, he said while addressing a programme organised by women self-help groups.
Pitching for more empowerment for women, Das said the aim was to set up three lakh self-help groups in the next two years and the government will spend Rs 2,000 crore on them.
To a demand made by the SHGs, Das announced to provide computers in every primary school next fiscal.
Das also congratulated Hazaribagh Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla, officials of the blocks and SHGs for making two blocks defecation-free, the release added.
