Myanmarese woman arrested with 15 gm heroin

Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department's Anti Narcotic Squad seized 15 grams of heroin at Vaivakawn locality in Aizawl today, spokesperson of the department Peter Zohmingthanga said.
Zohmingthanga said a 35 year-old woman Changi of Tahan in Myanmar was arrested in this connection and booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
The accused reportedly told her interrogators that she smuggled the contraband, worth around Rs 67,500, was smuggled from Tahan via the porous Mizoram-Myanmar border.
