While Interacting with a delegation of Naga Students' Union Delhi (NSUD) at Nagaland House, New Delhi, the Chief Minister told the Naga students that, "It is everyone's issue and the need of the hour is to put our heads together, be it the student, political, bureaucrat community or the general public".
"Our common destiny is at stake and if we want to have a say on how our future is to be decided, now is the time to speak up our minds, give our suggestions," he said.
The Chief Minister also pointed out that for the sake of finding a permanent solution to the protracted Naga political problem, all political parties in the 60-member Nagaland Legislative Assembly have come together burying their political differences and are now speaking out in one voice to the Centre as well as the other negotiating groups.
