Fresh from a win in Malaysia, the number two in Asia Max Championship, he plans to race in the Asian FIA formula 4 Championship in October and one of the European FIA Formula four Championships in February-March next year.
Nayan, here to race in the JK Tyre National Rotax Karting Championship, told reporters that his ambition was to become the best racer in the country.
He said his father could not achieve his ambition of becoming a racer due to financial constraints. Now his parents were supporting him to help him realise his dream.
The teenager said that since motorsport was expensive, government should subsidise it.
Asked about joining Meco, he said his tryst with the team came just after stupendous success in KRS-KKS Asia Rotax Max challenge 2016 in Malaysia in April-May, when he finished second.
Winner of 28 national motorsport trophies in the last four years, Nayan, in his fifth year in competitive kart racing, says he is ready to make a mark on the international grid.
