"During inspections, presence of breeding ground of aedes mosquito were spotted at several pockets within the AIIMS campus which includes the residential campus. Despite being issued several notices, the administration has failed to take preventive measures to check breeding of mosquitoes," said an New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) official.
Despite being challaned on almost eight occasions and 17 notices being served by NDMC, the institute has failed to take preventive measures to check breeding of mosquitoes, so the notice has been sent to the AIIMS Director, for violating provisions of the NDMC Act and asked to clear up the breeding spots at the earliest.
