Vohra while addressing students and faculty members of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University at Kakriyal emphasised on the importance of developing the institution as a knowledge hub and a centre for promoting moral and ethical values.
"There is need for developing SMVDU as a knowledge hub and centre of excellence to impart world class education to youths so that they can successfully compete in all spheres of human endeavour," the Governor, who is also Chancellor of the university, said.
He also insisted upon developing more hostels and other facilities to ensure enrolling of a larger number of students.
