Nepali man nabbed with heroin valued at Rs 10 lakh

A team of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and police has nabbed a Nepali national with 52 gram heroin, valued at Rs 10 lakh in the international grey market, from Sonauli area on the Indo-Nepal border here.
Vinod Thapa,19, was nabbed from the Roadways bus stand in Sonauli yesterday, police said.
The accused claimed that he had to deliver the contraband in Nepal against which he was to get Rs 5,000, they said.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on, police added.
