 "Network 18 Media Q3 net narrows to Rs 2.41 cr")
Network 18 Media & Investments Ltd consolidated net loss narrowed down to Rs 2.41 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, on the account of higher income from media operations.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 12.14 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Its total income from operations grew by 8.85 per cent to Rs 905.59 crore as against Rs 831.9 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
In a separate filing, Network 18 Media and Investments said its board appointed Prasoon Joshi as additional director (designated as an Independent Director) on the Board of the company for a period of five years.
Shares of Network 18 Media & Investments were trading 0.38 per cent lower at Rs 52.60 on BSE.

During the quarter under review, revenue from media operations grew by 7.85 per cent at Rs 895.02 crore while revenue from film production and distribution declined by 11.92 per cent to Rs 10.56 crore.
