During a meeting with the people, likely to be affected by the proposed projects at state secretariat, Das told the villagers from Kute, Tiril, Mudma, Laade and Jagannathpur that construction work for the proposed project would begin only after the affected families were rehabilitated.
The government wanted the people to lead a dignified life and create a conducive atmosphere for all round development of the state, Das said.
The chief minister regretted that Jharkhand did not have a capital complex and called upon people from all sections of the society to chip in for helping to create a new model city that would be equipped with all modern facilities for the next generation.
Among others, the Managing Director of Greater Ranchi Authority, Sukhdeo Singh and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sanjay Kumar were present.
