New 'Matrix' movie may center on Young Morpheus

The new 'The Matrix' movie will reportedly center on young Morpheus after the film's screenwriter Zak Penn shut down rumours of the movie being made as a reboot.
It might explore "expanded universe concepts" and come in the form of a prequel, reported AceShowbiz.
In "The Matrix" trilogy, Morpheus was portrayed by Laurence Fishburne.
Should "The Matrix" spin-off happen, the role of young Morpheus might be played by Michael B Jordan.
However, Penn wrote earlier on his Twitter account that he did "want to see more stories" set in "The Matrix" universe.
