Nickel, copper fall on tepid demand

Prices of nickel and copper traded lower by upto Rs 5 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on sluggish demand from consuming industries.
Traders said weak demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market led to the decline in nickel and copper prices.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4x4) and copper mixed scrap fell by Rs 5 and Rs 4 to Rs 840-845 and Rs 375 per kg, respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 107-113, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 840-845, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 375, chadri deshi Rs 295.

Lead ingot Rs 92, lead imported Rs 98, aluminium ingots Rs 156, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 152, aluminium wire scrap Rs 152 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 150.
