Nickel futures traded 0.33 per cent lower at Rs 747.50 per kg today as participants reduced their exposure to book profits amid October's month expiry tomorrow.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in current month fell by Rs 2.50, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 747.50 per kg, in a business turnover of 401 lots.
Market analysts said profit-booking and squaring-up of positions ahead of October month expiry tomorrow amid profit- booking, mainly weighed on nickel futures.
