Notices to 10,000 defaulting power consumers

Notice have been served to 10,000 electricity consumers in the Trans-Hindan-Sahibabad for failing to pay the electricity bills, UP Power Corporation officer said here today.
Executive Engineer, UPPCL, Harish Bansal said notices were served to 10,000 defaulting consumers of Shalimar Garden, Rajendra Nagar, Kadkad Madal, Jhandapur, Rajeev Colony, Saheed Nagar and Sahibabad village areas.
Out of which more than eight thousand consumers haven't paid their electricity bills since last six months.
These consumers may witness 'black deepawali' if they fail to pay the bills, the official added.
